„Clear As Water“ is about having difficulties with freely and fully trusting love. Very often to me it seems like we’re hyper focused on trusting a person when for me the bigger challenge is to trust in love. Coming from a background of the more abusive, absent kind of love I had and still have a hard time to trust in my own new definition of it. That I’m strong enough to keep coming back and moving towards my new kind of love. „As clear as water, I love you, but when there’s dirt inside, it can’t come through“ - The past, our narrative, the way we grew up sometimes makes the water muddy, but that doesn’t mean you can't see and trust people, it just takes more time to get close enough to fully see and trust them and yourself. „Clear As Water“ is about that.
